Teach for Thailand is part of the global Teach for All network and has been a Swarovski Foundation partner since 2015. All over the world, Teach for All partners are developing leadership by calling on their countries' outstanding graduates and professionals from every field to channel their talent and passion towards expanding opportunity for children from disadvantaged backgrounds and commit for two years to teach in the schools and communities where they are needed most.

Through ongoing training and development, these teachers (the so-called fellows), become effective classroom leaders and determined advocates for their students. Grounded in their teaching experience and deep belief in the potential of every child, they go on to be educators, policymakers, advocates, and entrepreneurs.

On the 20th December 2021, employees from Marigot Jewelry visited a public school located in the suburbs of Bangna, where two Teach for Thailand Fellows are placed to learn more about the charity´s work. The students prepared a welcome performance and had the opportunity to learn from Swarovski employees about their careers and educational paths inspiring them about different professional fields they could pursue in the future. We were delighted to see the Head of the Program team, Ronnarong, Stefano, and Alonfo get involved and join the students’ soccer game too!

Thanks to the wonderful team in Marigot, the children had an informative and enriching experience. We are extremely grateful to our colleagues who took the time to see first-hand the amazing work that our partner Teach for Thailand and their Fellows are doing on a daily basis.

"I was so happy to see foreigners from Italy and Switzerland visiting our school and giving us gifts. I used the 300 Baht voucher to buy snacks, shampoo, water bottles, and still have 108 baht left to buy other necessities. When they visited our classroom, I was very excited and inspired to concentrate. When people watch me, I got the energy to pay attention in class. I was also very happy that they gave us stationary. I used them right away. I want them to come back again. They can come to visit us every day" Pittayayut M.2/1(8th grade)
