The Swarovski Foundation has had a long-standing commitment to gender equality through global partnerships with charitable organisations which focus on increasing gender rights through education and livelihood programs.

This International Women’s Day, we are celebrating Swarovski Foundation partners across the globe and recognising the work they have achieved to advance women’s education and more sustainable livelihoods, accelerating progress toward a more equal and resilient future.

Inspiring organisations which the Swarovski Foundation supports include Conservation International, mothers2mothers, Room to Read, Turquoise Mountain, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), WomenKind and Women for Women International.

Room to Read's Girls' Education Program

More than 98 million girls around the world are not in school. Since 2015, the Swarovski Foundation has supported Room to Read’s Girls’ Education Program to achieve long-term, systemic change by helping girls gain access to life skills sessions and mentoring, as well as material support to ensure they continue their education and have a sustainable livelihood.

Since 2014, the Swarovski Foundation has invested where inequality is greatest by helping women who are forgotten – the women survivors of war and conflict through a long-standing partnership with Women for Women International. Supporting women to transform their lives by educating them about their rights, improving their incomes, health and wellbeing, and decision-making abilities.

Creatives for Our Future Alumni Embrace Equity

The Swarovski Foundation are proud to celebrate our Creatives for Our Future alumni, Agnieszka Doczynska and Sejal Budholiya as they embrace equity with their latest project. MENSTRUPEDIA is a digital publication that explains in a simple way the basic concepts of menstruation. The form of a wordless guide with only illustrations makes it universal, allowing everyone to understand it, regardless of education, age, gender, or nationality. Together we can work collectively to impact positive change and create an equal world.
