The Swarovski Foundation and partner United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) launch a match funding campaign to support health facilities in Yemen and provide life-saving services to more women in need.

After more than seven years of conflict and economic decline, Yemen remains one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. Pregnant women, new mothers and newborns are among the most affected.

Currently, half of all clinics in Yemen are destroyed or closed. Yemeni mothers and newborns depend on these clinics and the life-saving services they provide.

A woman in Yemen dies during childbirth every two hours, almost always from preventable causes.

You can support today to help:

  • Fund life-saving health services at clinics including emergency obstetric and newborn care.
  • Distribute Emergency Birth Kits to help women avoid infection when childbirth takes place in a crisis situation.
  • Provide midwives with the supplies they need to facilitate a safe delivery in a clinic or at home.

Every donation counts! Help us today to build a better future for women and girls in Yemen.

The Swarovski Foundation, will match all donations supporting women and newborns in Yemen up to $30,000 until midnight of 31 May 2022.
