The news from Afghanistan is devastating.

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency is on the ground and urgently needs help to continue providing life-saving support in Afghanistan. 550,000 Afghans have been forced to flee this year - joining 2.9million Afghans who remain internally displaced across the country.

The Swarovski Foundation are committed to supporting human empowerment and UNHCR's efforts in Afghanistan to help as many displaced people as possible.

UNHCR has helped assess the needs of almost 400,000 internally displaced civilians in 2021. Responding to the most critical priorities, UNHCR has provided food, shelter, cash, hygiene and sanitary kits and other lifesaving assistance, together with partners to more than 230,000 people this year.
